King and Queen County, Virginia

King and Queen County is one of the most rural localities in eastern Virginia, with no incorporated towns and fewer than 7,000 residents spread across 315 square miles of timber and farmland. US 360 and Route 14 are the only real corridors, and the lack of public sewer outside a few nodes keeps development to large-lot residential and land uses tied to the Mattaponi and York rivers.
