Layers come from official public sources. Elected-official cards refresh monthly from the official rosters and carry a "Data verified" date; development news refreshes weekly; parcel lines stream live from state GIS servers. For time-sensitive regulatory use, verify with the relevant authority.
Yes — research, screenshots, and cites in your own deals and documents are welcome. Scraping, bulk downloading, republishing, or building datasets from VMAP is prohibited — the data carries embedded identification and copies are traceable. Full rules: Terms of Use.
No — VMAP runs live in your browser, on desktop or phone, with nothing to install. Enterprise and government buyers who need the data in-house can license a full state outright; see the Pricing page.
