King County, Texas

King County, seated at Guthrie, is the least populous county in Texas and consists almost entirely of large ranching operations, most famously the historic 6666 (Four Sixes) Ranch. Cattle and ranchland leases are effectively the entire local economy, and with so few residents Census QuickFacts does not publish reliable income or housing data for the county.
