Kenedy County, Texas
Kenedy County is one of the least populous counties in the country, built almost entirely around the historic Kenedy Ranch and its cattle, oil and gas operations out of the county seat, Sarita. US 77 carries traffic between Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley through the county, and Laguna Madre and Gulf frontage support hunting leases and energy royalties as the primary sources of local revenue. Population is too small for Census QuickFacts to publish reliable income or housing figures.
