Snyder County, Pennsylvania
Snyder County sits west of the Susquehanna River in central Pennsylvania, with Middleburg as the county seat and Selinsgrove, home to Susquehanna University, as its largest borough. Agriculture and light manufacturing carry the county, and most commercial development concentrates on the US 11/15 corridor near Selinsgrove and Monroe Township, where Susquehanna floodplain and public sewer limits leave the agricultural townships west of Middleburg largely unbuilt.
