Coverage is still going county by county — a layer marked not yet mapped is one we have not built for that county yet. The five base layers stay free for every county we cover. Everything beyond them — zoning, traffic counts, commercial, wetlands, HUD, soils & geology and the rest — is included with VMAP Pro, $49 a month for every county. See pricing.
Surry County is a small, rural market on the south bank of the James River whose tax base is dominated by Dominion's Surry nuclear station, with agriculture, timber and the Jamestown-Scotland ferry making up the rest. There is no interstate and public utilities are limited to the immediate town areas, so development is largely agricultural, residential on well and septic, and whatever the power station and Route 10 and Route 31 corridors support.
