Free base layers for the counties we cover — live on the map, no download required. Below is live Orange County, Virginia data, drawn in its real colors — plus live previews of our most popular paid layers. Toggle away.
Coverage is still going county by county — a layer marked not yet mapped is one we have not built for that county yet. The five base layers stay free for every county we cover. Everything beyond them — zoning, traffic counts, commercial, wetlands, HUD, soils & geology and the rest — is included with VMAP Pro, $49 a month for every county. See pricing.
Orange County is a Piedmont county absorbing growth from three directions, with Lake of the Woods and the Route 3 corridor pulling Fredericksburg commuters, the US-15 and US-29 corridors linking it to Culpeper, and Gordonsville oriented toward Charlottesville. The Town of Orange and Gordonsville hold the public water and sewer, so most commercial and higher-density development has to locate there or pay to extend service.
