Free base layers for the counties we cover — live on the map, no download required. Below is live Northampton County, Virginia data, drawn in its real colors — plus live previews of our most popular paid layers. Toggle away.
Coverage is still going county by county — a layer marked not yet mapped is one we have not built for that county yet. The five base layers stay free for every county we cover. Everything beyond them — zoning, traffic counts, commercial, wetlands, HUD, soils & geology and the rest — is included with VMAP Pro, $49 a month for every county. See pricing.
Northampton County is the southern tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore, a thin agricultural and aquaculture market strung along US-13 between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic, with Cape Charles and its Bay Creek resort driving most second-home and hospitality activity. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is the only link to Hampton Roads, and wetlands, groundwater limits and sparse public sewer outside the towns constrain where anything of scale can be built.
The VMAP live map of Northampton County, Virginia draws these layers in your browser, nothing to download:
Cape Charles, Cheriton, Eastville, Exmore, Nassawadox.
