Free base layers for the counties we cover — live on the map, no download required. Below is live Lynchburg City County, Virginia data, drawn in its real colors — plus live previews of our most popular paid layers. Toggle away.
Coverage is still going county by county — a layer marked not yet mapped is one we have not built for that county yet. The five base layers stay free for every county we cover. Everything beyond them — zoning, traffic counts, commercial, wetlands, HUD, soils & geology and the rest — is included with VMAP Pro, $49 a month for every county. See pricing.
Lynchburg is an independent city, legally separate from surrounding Campbell, Bedford and Amherst counties with its own zoning, schools and tax base, anchored by Liberty University, Centra Health, and a nuclear engineering cluster in BWX Technologies and Framatome. US 29 and US 460 carry the regional market, and infill and adaptive reuse downtown and along Wards Road matter more than greenfield because the city is only about 49 square miles and largely built out.
