Free base layers for the counties we cover — live on the map, no download required. Below is live Bristol City County, Virginia data, drawn in its real colors — plus live previews of our most popular paid layers. Toggle away.
Coverage is still going county by county — a layer marked not yet mapped is one we have not built for that county yet. The five base layers stay free for every county we cover. Everything beyond them — zoning, traffic counts, commercial, wetlands, HUD, soils & geology and the rest — is included with VMAP Pro, $49 a month for every county. See pricing.
Bristol is an independent city with its own zoning, schools and tax base, sitting on the Tennessee state line where it forms one contiguous market with Bristol, Tennessee, split down the middle of State Street. I-81 access and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino give the city its current development momentum, but at roughly 13 square miles with a shrinking, low-income population it competes directly for retail and industry against a Tennessee side that has no state income tax.
